A successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid
communication skills. This candidate will be able to meet deadlines by ensuring financials are
processed timely, work well with others within the team and externally on projects or tasks, and
learn new software applications as departmental changes arise.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Month End Close Process
Responsible for maintaining the ledger accounts
Perform account reconciliations, prepare analysis of accounts, make adjustments and corrections accordingly
Maintain schedules, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts including, but not limited to prepaid expenses, prepaid insurance, payroll, and other assets/liabilities
Set up and maintain fixed asset schedule for the addition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets
Ensure rent and utility payments are submitted on time for all offices
Assist with preparation of documents for internal and external audits
Assist with property tax task

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
1 or more years of general ledger accountant experience or related experience
Ability to use computer software, including Microsoft Office Suites or similar software, and accounting software
Knowledge of the Lease Accounting Standards (ASC 842) is preferred
Microsoft Dynamics GP is a Plus
Knowledge in GAAP practices is a Plus
